	LYFE ALL AT THE NEW QUEST UNIVERSITY in the Garibaldi Highlands overlooking the Squamish Chief and Howe Sound. We have made arrangements for the entire program, including all rooms and meals, to take place at this extremely innovative and impressive University. Register for LYFE III this summer Quest University Squamish We have space this summer for up to 50 young adults (18 to 21 yrs) from all faith communities and spiritual traditions to explore together what sacred texts and sacred activism for the Earth means today. We learn what leaders and people of Spirit are doing to care for the Earth we all share - and the practical ways we can take a lead and make a difference back home. We will work with participants to obtain the funding support they need beyond what they can raise themselves from their own resources and faith communities. 		NOAM DOLGIN JOINS THE LYFE lll TEAM We welcome Noam Dolgin who is active in the Jewish environmental movement in the US and Canada. With Michael Barkusky he is a amber of Adam va-Adamah. He joins us with a team at the helm that is stronger than ever - including: Richard Chu - Buddhist Soka Gokkai International Deanna Lewis - Squamish Nation Michael Symonds - Be The Change Rachael Lythe - Music and Registrar William Roberts - Program Director ALICIA CUNDALL IN WASHINGTON DC Alicia has been working and studying with Bahai leaders and UN officials in Washington participating in conferences on sustainability and the Earth Charter. 		Friday Evening August 1 YOUTH WITNESS CEREMONY We Welcome You with a Witness Ceremony by Youth from the Squamish and Lil'wat First Nations. Registration at Quest begins at 7 pm on Friday August 1st. By 8:30 when all have arrived we plan for a special welcome to the traditional territory of the Squamish Nation. Youth from both the Squamish and Lil'wat First Nations will welcome us in a Witness ceremony that begins the journey together for LYFE.
		LYFE PROGRAM Saturday August 2 BRINGING LYFE TO FAITH Through special presentations, dialogues, activities, music and celebrations we will experience the richness of the different faith traditions we represent. In Paradise Valley by the Mamquam River and high in the Garibaldi mountains we will lift up our voices in songs and prayers and celebrations. Alicia Cundall and Deanna Lewis who participated in the Interfaith Youth Core Conference in Chicago last fall will be the leaders for our day of Bringing LYFE to Faith. Sunday August 3 BRINGING LYFE TO THE EARTH The One Earth we share from our many worlds of Faith is threatened by climate change from greenhouse gas emission, by pollution and misuse of water, and overconsumption from those at the top leaving more than a billion at the bottom. On Sunday we will bring LYFE to the issues of climate change, water conservation and material overconsumption. We will hear from and learn about what actions people of faith around the world are doing to address these problems that are threatening the Earth: BC Premiers Climate Action For Youth Water for All The Story of Stuff Monday August 4 BRINGING LYFE TO POWER As we prepare for returning to our own places and communities, we will plan together LYFE Campaigns that will address the three EARTH issues we discussed and actions we mapped.
